I am an ACA-registered professional counsellor with a background in psychology and formal coaching certification. I support individuals navigating the emotional and psychological effects of social isolation, including low mood, anxiety, prolonged stress, and depression. I work with those who feel stuck in unhealthy relationship patterns that impact their confidence, self-worth, and sense of belonging.

My practice is grounded in both professional training and extensive experience working with vulnerable individuals. I have supported clients through life transitions, adjustment challenges, confidence rebuilding, and reconnecting with their communities in ways that feel safe and sustainable. I bring a calm, empathetic presence and create inclusive spaces where people feel respected, heard, and genuinely supported.

I take a trauma-informed approach, guided by the core principles of safety, trustworthiness, choice, collaboration, and empowerment. I prioritise creating a sense of emotional safety, building transparent and trusting therapeutic relationships, and supporting clients to feel a sense of control and agency in their healing process. I work collaboratively, honouring each person’s lived experience, and focus on strengthening their existing capacities and resilience.

From personal and professional experience, I understand that loneliness can affect anyone—not only those who are physically alone. Many people experience a sense of inner isolation even within relationships, families, or social circles. My work centres on helping clients recognise and understand these patterns, develop a more compassionate relationship with themselves, and cultivate healthier, more fulfilling connections with others.
My approach is client-centred and strengths-based, integrating behavioural insight with practical therapeutic support. I also draw on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) as a structured, goal-focused framework, supporting clients to gently identify and shift unhelpful patterns in thinking, emotional responses, and behaviours. Through this process, I aim to help individuals build emotional resilience, deepen self-awareness, and move toward a more grounded, connected, and confident sense of self.
