Bel is an ACA registered Clinical Psychotherapist with a Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy. She works with adults facing difficult life changes, relationship challenges, stress, burnout, and identity shifts, particularly where cultural context, language, or feeling misunderstood has shaped their experience.

Her approach is relational, trauma-informed, and grounded in attachment and interpersonal process work. She will help you work through what you are facing and, if you are wanting to, support you to understand how your personal history, family patterns, historic trauma and cultural context shape the way you relate, communicate, and experience life. This can include working with intergenerational patterns, helping you to interrupt patterns and habits, and to design the life and relationships you want.

Bel has strong experience in treating men and women adjusting to parenting and pregnancy, and supports clients through the emotional and relational changes that come with being in any type of relationships – at work, in family, as a parent, a child, a spouse, a friend etc. She also works with culturally diverse clients, including those navigating bicultural identities and the experience of living between cultures. She understands the tension that can arise between family expectations, cultural values, and life in broader society, including the impact this can have on relationships and work. Bel brings a calm, steady presence to session, a touch of humour. She aims to help you feel more grounded, centred, and feeling more resilient and joyful in life.

Modalities include: person-centred therapy with ACT, DBT-informed skills, and psychodynamic and existential perspectives. Parts work, Family Systems, Somatic Psychotherapy and Trauma therapy.
