With an Afghan background and fluency in Dari and Hazaragi, Hayda brings a deeply grounded and culturally responsive perspective to her work as a Psychologist. Her lived experience enriches her ability to connect with clients from diverse communities, fostering a therapeutic environment that is respectful, inclusive, and attuned to the complexities of culture, identity, and belonging. She is committed to offering a safe, supportive space where individuals feel understood, valued, and empowered to pursue meaningful change.

Hayda’s clinical practice is informed by strong assessment skills, contemporary research, and a calm, thoughtful approach to care. She has extensive experience conducting comprehensive psychological assessments for children, adolescents, and adults, using validated tools such as the WISC‑V, WAIS‑IV, ABAS, PDDBI, BASC‑3, ASC‑ASD, ERC, and EEG interpretation. Guided by a biopsychosocial framework, she integrates assessment findings into clear, practical formulations that support accurate diagnosis and tailored intervention planning.

Across private practice, NDIS, rehabilitation, and community settings, Hayda has supported individuals presenting with anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, neurodevelopmental and neurodiverse profiles, and complex psychosocial needs. She is experienced in managing high caseloads while maintaining exceptional standards of ethical practice, clinical documentation, and collaborative care. In therapy, Hayda draws on a range of psychological modalities, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), trauma‑informed approaches, and skills‑based interventions to support emotional regulation, adaptive functioning, and overall wellbeing.

Hayda is passionate about helping clients build emotional regulation, adaptive skills, and increase their quality of life. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys hiking, exploring nature, and engaging in beauty and self‑care practices that support balance and personal wellbeing.
