Nadya is an AHPRA-registered Clinical Psychologist and a member of the Australian Psychological Society with over 18 years of experience across the private, community, and public health sectors. She earned her Master of Psychology (Clinical) with Distinction and her Bachelor of Science (Psychology) from the University of Southern Queensland, along with a Bachelor of Arts with Honours (Psychology) from Murdoch University. Nadya manages a solo private practice in Toowoomba, where she provides dedicated, evidence-based care.

Having worked extensively in regional hubs like Toowoomba and Warwick in Queensland, and Northam in Western Australia, Nadya is deeply familiar with the challenges faced by regional and rural communities, particularly the significant barriers to accessing quality mental health services. Her clinical expertise is broad, including specialised support for survivors of torture and trauma, refugee communities, and Indigenous populations. She also conducts comprehensive psychological evaluations, such as NDIS functional capacity assessments and bariatric surgery readiness reviews.

Nadya utilises a variety of tailored, evidence-based treatment modalities, including:

  • Schema Therapy
  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • CBT
  • Narrative Exposure Therapy.

As a native Russian speaker, Nadya values cultural and linguistic inclusivity, offering therapy in a client’s primary language when requested. Outside of the clinic, Nadya is an avid traveller who enjoys the cultural immersion of music and foreign film festivals. To maintain her own well-being, she enjoys Pilates, Aqua aerobics, and the mindful movement of Qigong.

She is guided by the motto of Milorad Pavić:

“In the direction that your fear is growing, you’re on the right path.”
