Yulia is a Clinical Psychologist with a Master’s degree in Psychological Science, dedicated to supporting adults through challenging and transitional periods in their lives. She works primarily with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal difficulties, helping them make sense of their experiences and move toward meaningful change.

Yulia is a solution-focused, driven, and analytical therapist who values clarity and practical outcomes. Her approach centres on understanding each client’s unique situation and collaboratively identifying effective strategies to reduce distress and improve overall quality of life. She aims to break down complex problems into manageable steps, empowering clients to regain a sense of control and direction.

Her primary therapeutic modalities include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). In addition, she integrates techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), allowing her to tailor treatment to each individual’s needs and goals.

Yulia is also fluent in Russian, allowing her to offer therapy in both English and Russian and connect with a broader range of clients from diverse backgrounds.

As a mother and an immigrant, Yulia brings warmth, perspective, and real-world understanding to her clinical work. She appreciates the challenges of balancing responsibilities, navigating stress, and maintaining wellbeing, and this informs her grounded, compassionate, and practical approach to therapy.
