I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with over 15 years’ experience supporting adolescents, adults, and couples from diverse cultural backgrounds.

My work includes supporting people experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, grief and loss, low self-esteem, relationship and family difficulties, parenting challenges, emotional distress, and life transitions. I have also supported survivors of domestic and sexual violence, delivered behaviour change interventions, and provided culturally responsive support to refugee and migrant communities.

At the heart of my practice is a belief that meaningful change happens when people feel safe, understood, and genuinely supported. I aim to offer a warm, calm, non-judgemental space where we can work together at a pace that feels right for you. My approach is strengths-based and grounded in respect, curiosity, and collaboration, with a focus on building self-compassion, hope, and a sense of agency.

I draw on a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Gottman Couples Therapy, mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, psychoeducation, and strengths-based approaches. Rather than applying a single method, I tailor therapy to each person’s needs, values, culture, and goals, viewing clients as the experts in their own lives.

I have called Australia home since 2005, and my personal experience of migration and cultural adaptation informs the way I work. I also bring bilingual ability to my practice and a lived understanding of cultural diversity. Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, time at the beach, being in nature, and dancing like no one is watching (ideally when no one is). I also remain committed to the important work of not taking sides in coffee culture debates.
