Hi! I’m Catalina. I began my professional journey as a Social Worker, working with diverse communities and addressing issues related to health, education, and gender-based violence. Several years ago, I shifted my path toward Counselling, a field that deeply inspires me and allows me to explore new dimensions of listening and understanding. Today, I work with adolescents and adults, supporting them through a range of challenges.
I was born in Argentina and have lived in countries such as Thailand and Kenya, where I worked and volunteered in schools and community services, gaining valuable cultural experiences. For the past two years, I have been living in Australia. These experiences have enriched my perspective and inform my approach as a clinician, helping me connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
I work primarily from a cognitive-behavioral and systemic framework, tailoring therapy to each individual’s needs. I support clients with post-traumatic stress, anxiety, depression, gender-based violence, stress, anger management, grief, couples’ challenges, migration, and life transitions.
My goal is to provide a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space where clients can connect with themselves, explore their emotions, and find clarity. I strive to walk alongside each person with compassion, helping them build resilience, navigate change, and discover their own path to well-being.
In my free time, I enjoy yoga, meditation, outdoor activities such as cycling, swimming, and gardening, and spending quality time with family and friends.
