Sandrine Lonchampt is a counsellor and psychotherapist based in Sydney, NSW, offering online sessions across Australia in English and French. She holds a Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy, alongside a Diploma in Mental Health and postgraduate studies in counselling, and is a PACFA registered Certified Practising Counsellor and Psychotherapist (No. 33648). She was awarded Outstanding Clinical Skills NSW by the Australian College of Applied Psychology in 2026 and has trained and volunteered as a crisis supporter with Lifeline Australia.

Sandrine works with teenagers, adults, and older adults facing grief and loss (including complex, disenfranchised, or anticipatory grief), life transitions such as separation or migration, trauma, and existential concerns including mortality, moral injury, and questions of meaning and identity. She also supports people through burnout, anxiety, depression, and emotional dysregulation.

Her practice is grounded in existential and narrative therapy, drawing on the humanistic traditions of Carl Rogers and Irvin Yalom. She integrates psychodynamic understanding with evidence-based methods including IFS, CBT, ACT, EFT, and DBT, along with somatic awareness, mindfulness, and creative or experiential work, tailored to each person’s needs.

Before training as a therapist, Sandrine studied sociology within a Master of Architecture in France, an early interest in how people build and inhabit community. She went on to live and work across New Zealand, French Polynesia, USA, and Australia, before moving into Montessori education and the arts, running an art studio for families in Sydney. It was witnessing people navigate loss and the search for meaning that drew her toward this work. Having lived across several continents, she brings a grounded, culturally attuned presence to therapy, along with a deep love of the natural world.
