Suellen Zanco is a compassionate and culturally aware counsellor dedicated to supporting individuals through life’s challenges with warmth, empathy, and professionalism. She holds a degree in Psychology from Brazil and is a registered counsellor with PACFA in Australia. With a strong background in mental health and emotional wellbeing, Suellen provides a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space where clients can feel heard, understood, and empowered.

She works with adults and adolescents experiencing anxiety, stress, trauma, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, life transitions, grief, emotional overwhelm, and challenges related to identity, migration, and cultural adjustment. As someone who understands the complexities of living between cultures, she is especially passionate about supporting culturally and linguistically diverse communities, including Portuguese-speaking clients.

Suellen uses an integrative and client-centred approach, tailoring therapy to each person’s unique needs and goals. Her work may include trauma-informed care, DBT-based strategies, emotional regulation tools, mindfulness practices, psychoeducation, strengths-based therapy, and supportive counselling. She is also interested in incorporating evidence-based trauma therapies such as EMDR into her practice.

Originally from Brazil, Suellen has been living in Australia for the past 10 years. She brings warmth, authenticity, and a holistic perspective to her work. As a mother of two, she values resilience, connection, and the importance of creating balance in everyday life. She believes therapy can be a powerful space for healing, growth, and meaningful change, and feels honored to walk alongside clients on that journey.
